Service was good. Food was good. The restaurant was not clean. I had to let an employee know that there were no napkins at all left at the kiosk. The garbage bins were so over-flowing that there was garbage on the floor all around the bins. Meanwhile, two of the staff members were just sitting around in the dining area; one appeared to be on his smart phone and the other appeared to be sitting talking with friends. The entire 20 minutes we were there the garbage wasn't emptied. Our table near the play place wasn't cleaned. And there were dirty socks lying around (there were no kids other than ours there while we were there so God knows how long the socks were there).

Hard working bunch of young folk. Y'all have to start somewhere and McDonald's hires a lot of young ones. And like I said a hard working bunch. Food is ok too for the type.

Every single order served today while I was waiting for mine was brought back because things were either missing, or wrong. The shake machine wasnt working, again. It was very busy though, and everyone was very polite and fixed things quickly. But I literally saw a guy leave with a burger and fries, and came back asking where his second burger was. The lobby was clean, and garbage was cleared before it became a problem.

Very busy location though I like the new kiosks. I think they do make service slower though because now everything is customizable instead of on a production line. Near lots of gas stations and the highway

Friendly people fast service

Extremely long wait time,(wasn’t even lunch) annoying staff (had to repeat myself multiple times and only got 2 ketchup when I asked for lots) and kinda pricey (11.50 for a quarter pounder blt combo is a tad much imo) the only thing that saved them is that it was tasty. Had I had enough chup to properly enjoy my fries,then it would be 3.5 or 4 territory. Since Wendy’s is also tasty,way faster and generous with the ketchup and cheaper,it’s better off to go there!

I'm not sure what I ate. I know society tells me it was food but it wasn't...

I waited for 22 minutes for my coffee and danish. At that point I ran out of time and asked for a refund. The refund was issued quickly, efficiently and silently. No apology and no attempt to fix the situation. 😂

Good food for a fast food restaurant. Usually have to pull over and wait for one item during their busy times (i.e. coffee, fries....) which is aggravating.

Nice place for coffee and lunch. They should make more Apple turnovers though... Seems like there always out of them!!!!

Newly remodeled store. Nice design. But the washrooms are not barrier free. The service seems clueless. And the quality questionable.I'm not confident I could recommend this McDonald's to someone who is looking for a first-time McDonald's experience it's kind of abysmal.

I go once a week for a change in coffee..the coffee is consistent .and the staff are good lits of tables .you can find a quite nook .or be surrounded by people .😊😊

I ate a filet of fish it was cold I remember the good old days when you had to wait for it but it was always hot

Clean, sectioned into social distancing. Staff are not as polite as they should be but the coffee was great.

Took many verbal repeats to get my simple drive thru order taken of three apple pies. 2 lrg fries. 1 med fries. Order entered multiple time wrong on the screen. Apple pie had no apples and was rubber. The timestamp on one box said made at 10:30am-serve by 2:30pm...it was served to us at 7pm. Another box had the timestamp label partially peeled off so we couldn't tell when it was made. At pay window I paid by tap..but the attendant did not make sure i could see the amount of my order. At the pickup i asked for extra ketchup and some of packets had ketchup spread all over the outside of them. Is this meeting standards?

Paid over $40 for meals for my family. Waited atleast 30 minutes and when they brought me my family's food, they handed me 6 chicken nuggets. Went in to complain and the manager told me to get out of her store. Pathetic. Uneducated. And they have the nerve to complain to the government, demanding that minimum wage should be higher....

Found this location clean and well run. Only ordered a couple of ice creams but was greeted well and served promptly. Drive thru was fairly busy.

Food is cold when you get it

Good to get a simple burger and refreshments. Don't expect anything fancy. Sometimes can be sticky due to lack of cleaning but, good usually. Can also be crowded on rush hours and staff could be overstressed - blame managers and company for exploiting employees. Overall, good for a quick stop.

McDonald Truro, Nova scotia Canada On Friday 16, 2020 at 10:05 AM i was refused a latte in exchange of my McCafe rewards card. I was offered a basic coffee in exchange. This is a false advertising case

One of the employees was less than helpful and they had my salad under a heat lamp...hot lettuce is not ideal.

Sorry but this was a disaster. Two lanes at drive through backed up to the street. About and hour to get food and go. But wait there's more. Pulled up to pay window#1 totally ignored me then left. The line moved so I did also. Got to window #2 no order wrong coffee and when I told him I still had to pay couldn't. Should've just drove away.👎👎👎

They're getting better I think - staffing issues is no doubt a challenge for the busiest McD's in NS...- had to wait 10 min for the qtr /lb'r meat but staff were clear & polite about it so I was happy 👍 keep it up gang! Few mths ago I was there & left empty handed 38 min after ordering & paying for my food. I wasn't the only one not sure what that fiasco was all about but I complained to McD's they sent me coupons & apologized

None of the employees on 11:00pm Thursday February 20th 2020 knew how to make a shamrock shake. I was instructed to pull my vehicle ahead, and I waited 20 minutes only for them to bring plain vanilla ice cream in a cup. I brought the ice cream back inside and the man working cashier raised his voice at me. They musta changed the recipe because he argued shamrock shakes were plain vanilla ice cream served with a straw...rename this one shame-rook shake to describe their level of incompetence

Fast, friendly service and really fresh food.

This is what MacDonalds calls a bacon and egg bagel meal...no cheese egg or bacon!! Paid for it but didnt receive it.. called them but they didnt return my call. Poor poor customer service. Mistakes are too many made by this place. Stay away!!!!

on my way back to the campgrounds from Truro hospital and grabbed a big mac combo for my wife. she likes that kind of food I had a nice steak for my supper.

Its McDonalds what can I say ... you either like it , or you dont . It's my favorite fast food .. there coffee is second to none. There fries are the best .. I like it.

Long long long waits and always check your order if you wanted so.ething different then their standardized meals..

I have this a 3 star due to not knowing which location this review is meant for. The location adjacent to Walmart could use a lot of improvement due to the untidiness of the tables and floors along with many times I visited there I would find that food menu items wouldn’t be available due to being sold out or equipment malfunction. This location really needs tidying up on these matters.

Well it's McDonald's, so it has all of the normal stuff at the normal prices. We like bringing the kids here for a treat because there is a nice play place. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Supposed to writing this earlier but today I had a terrible experience with this McDonald’s third time straight in a raw, was requesting something special and ask a lady on the other side to do that for me with using my privilege as a part of this organization. She come up with the statement that “ I’m a team lead and if I can’t rang it through I can’t serve it “ al though I was ready to pay extra and helping her to put I the order as well but talking with a customer with an attitude it’s not a great thing of you can’t do it the just say no nice and gently.And as per current policy every employee suppose to wear a mask and gloves at window no mask or gloves not at the window or the staff we can see working.I work for this same organization but never behaved any of a customer as she behaved with me never gonna visit this place again.I wish I can give less than one star to this location specially.Thanks to this McDonald’s for their ridiculous and horrible service.......

Standard McDonald's. Nice, friendly staff. Clean and tidy.

Have both lanes open but only take orders from one lane. This has happened more than once. Slowest service.

How would you rate the visit? Drive up at 10:36, ask for two milkshakes, was told the machine is broken, ok so ordered two mcdoubles. Got my order at 10:53. Now I could perhaps understand the milkshakes, they probably don't sell many anyways 😉, but I feel that 17 minutes at a drive through is not fast food.

Stopped for a quick lunch. Friendly service. Food exactly as expected. :)

Food is good but the only thing that wigging me out us that fact that the employees do not wear hair nets. Me personally I've been working in the food industry and everywhere I've worked required to wear hair nets. Health and safety requires employees to wear them.

Speedy order prep, clean restaurant and friendly servers. Food was hot and tasty, the fries were perfect! Washrooms were also well maintained, which is always a plus!

Usually the McDonalds on Robie St. Truro has quick service. For some reason tonight, (Nov. 9, 2019 at 8 pm), it took almost 20 minutes to get my meal. It didn't seem busy, there were one or two cars in the drive through when I walked in and only 2 people waiting for their order. Not sure what the reason could have been. Hopefully it will be better the next time I'm there.

The fries don't seem to be fully cooked anymore!
